Weldon has been encouraging me to share recipes on our website for quite a while. There is quite a learning curve when switching from feedlot or corn-fed beef to eating All-Natural, Grassfed, Hormone-Free and Antibiotic-Free Beef. Grassfed beef is naturally much leaner than corn-fed beef. Therefore, our beef will cook much faster than corn-fed beef. The grassfed cooking motto is Low and Slow. Generally, you will want to cook your beef at a lower temperature and for a longer cooking time. Even steaks should be seared, to seal in the moisture, and temperatures brought down to finish cooking to the the disired doneness.
Please use the links on the side for my advice on cooking steaks, recipes featuring our monthly specials, as well as my family's favorite recipes.
